Sometimes it just happens 😭

Incompatibility layering glasses on top of one another or adding elements like silver can cause the glass to expand and contract at different times causing cracks in the surface.
.
Another thing that can cause cracks is the glass cooling too quickly in one spot. This can happen from not consistently warming up the bead in-between creating the other design elements.
.
Unfortunately this is just one of the things that comes with working in glass.

Mom (Mary Delucca Crivello) it's been 4 years since you left us. The last of 3. Dad, Leeloo, and then you. I miss you so much. It hasn't been the same since you've left. It's in these last few days that I've needed you the most. I just want to cry in your safe arms and have you tell me everything is going to be ok. You had to leave too soon. I wasn't ready to lose all of you and definitely not all at once. You missed so many things. You missed some of my biggest accomplishments. I still like to imagine you and Dad living in our old house going on about your every day life. I think of how much I'd like to just drive over to our family's old home, walk in the door, hug you, sit on the deck drinking coffee with you, and sit at our old family's kitchen table (which you made your studio table and is now my kitchen and creative table) beading with you. I miss getting Thai food together and you picking me up to go run errands with you or shop for groceries. I miss eating the wonderful things you baked and coming over to your house, looking in the fridge for something to eat and eating dinner with our family. All of the little things are the things I treasure most. I think of you when I drink coffee, bead, or bake with your kitchen aid. I hold you in my heart wishing I could feel you closer.
