Coffee, Creativity & Handmade Lampwork Glass Jewelry at Blip Roasters I Kansas City

Coffee jewelry I created especially for the Blip Roasters Market!

Artists and coffee just make sense. Coffee fuels creativity, and handmade lampwork glass jewelry gives that creativity somewhere to go. This Saturday, I’m bringing my entire collection of handmade lampwork glass jewelry along with coffee jewelry created especially for the event at Blip Roasters in Kansas City!

Here are some of the new designs I created along with a few very special gallery style pieces I created a few years ago.

Three lampwork glass coffee bean beads next to a coffee bean on a tan countertop.
Coffee bean glass and color study for my new designs.

I even took my new designs a step further by altering the simple crease of the coffee bean into an "s" shape to more resemble a coffee bean. I was already enamored with the new design, but I took it a step further and decided to etch the glass to really give it that more realistic coffee bean look! Our glass palette only has a few browns, and I felt like this color was the closest I could get to " coffee bean brown"

I think I nailed it! What do you think?

Three coffee beans on a white background: one raw, one roasted, and one glossy coffee-bean lampwork bead on a mandrel and one etched lampwork coffee bead bead all side by side

If I didn't convince you there, surely this last photo showing the coffee bean with etched and shiny glass definitely provides an even better picture :D

Here is the POV vide of my coffee bead and coffee cup earrings.

I'm so excited about this new design! I decided it would be fun for everyone to see how the earrings are made. I also honestly felt like I needed to created some content process videos because I was selfish and just made the beads without taking any videos. I did a late night lampwork sesh from 9pm to midnight the other night when the temps dropped into the 70's. It was going to rain, but there was even a thunderstorm which made it THAT much better (thunderstorms are one of my most favorite things in the world)!

Here are the deets..
