Copper and seed bead wire woven pendant with lampwork lentil on sari ribbon
"Spirit Animal"
A paw print represents our connection to our spirit animals as they guide and walk with us on our life path. The arrow represents our direction, where the dots represent steps on our journey. Spirals represent our life path as we grow and evolve. The striped cane represents the snake that evolves, sheds, and is reborn. Copper is used as a powerful conductor that connects the spiritual and physical world.
"Spirit Animal" features a copper and seed bead wire-woven pendant with lampwork lentil on sari ribbon. Rainbow raku color-shifting spatters, organic striped cane, embossed spirals, an arrow, and a raised paw print adorn the focal.
Lentil focal bead is streaky yellow-green, and topaz brown measuring 40mm (1 1/2"). Pendant has copper wire and Picasso seed beads woven into a wire-wrapped bail with a hammered copper ball spiral bottom.
Necklace is strung on 2, 1/4" recycled sari silk ribbons of variegated khaki and rust brown. Wire-wrapped seed beaded connectors on antiqued copper adjustable chain with hessonite garnet dangle, and lobster claw clasp finish off the design. Necklace is 17 - 22 1/4" adjustable.
"Spirit Animal" is part of our "Beautifully Broken/ Happily Healing" line of "Seconds".
There is a crack on the front bottom bead hole that runs a short distance along the side of the bead.
Depending on the lighting and the angle of the bead you don't even see or notice the cracks.
**Beautifully Broken/ Happy Healing** is our line of "Seconds," which are works of art that have cracks, blemishes, or design flaws (photos of the flaws and descriptions are provided in each listing). These works are listed for half off their normal price and are sold "As Is" but are carefully examined and crafted to be enjoyed for a lifetime, even with their flaws.**
Beautifully Broken/Happily Healing reminds us of the "broken" parts of ourselves that may feel like flaws, but are the things that make us beautiful.
*Recycled sari silk is made from Indian women's sari dresses that are no longer wearable. The sari is cut and sewn into ribbons, recycling it into something new and beautiful while creating fair trade work for families.
